Hey crew - It’s ya girl

HUGE updates going on over here at Baby Yoda Studio lately -

First of all, we’ve got a studio now! Like for real! It took a bit to get running but I finally have it set up and ready to get started on PRODUCTION! Jewelry, crafts, paintings, prints drawings - we’ve got it all going on. I’m very excited to be at this stage.

Second, I changed career paths so I now have WAY more time to focus on creating and building. I’m working on building an art inventory, a community, and a fat pile of resources to get me through any upcoming struggles. We know there’s plenty of struggles on the way so remember today to take a little time to think about PREPAREDNESS. Not gonna dwell on doomsday talk, just reminding you it’s something to keep working on every day. Feel free to reach out to me if you need help with it at all.

I’m rolling out a few things in the shop including custom art and jewelry. Marty might start posting his MTG decks but he might hold off on that for now. We’ll see how things shape up.

I know I said I would be sharing info about my lil garden over the summer. If you want updates on that head over to my Instagram page and check it out. (link on the homescreen! I just added that today!) I grew corn and beans like a pro, but my squash got started a little too late to survive the cold season. It’s ok. I’m learning and I have a lot of great ideas for next year! I also learned a lot about foraging as well. I HIGHLY recommend you start learning about what can be foraged and grown in your area.

Big Things Coming!

As we officially begin work on our website and brand, let me take a moment to say hi to everyone!

Hello! How are you? If the answer is that you are struggling through the nightmare of end stage capitalism in a broken racist system designed to oppress minorities… yeah. I feel ya there. Same.

And we can totally talk about the different facets of that at some point, and what that means to you specifically, but for now just know you’re not alone.

We’re a community. We’re in this together. Even if you don’t 100% agree with everything I have to say I would appreciate you sticking around. This space is so much more that just “woke sjw liberal agenda” or whatever the fasc are calling it these days. It’s about self sufficient communities and moving away from reliance on corporations and the ultra rich.

How can we feed our communities without shipping thousands of pounds of produce all across the globe just to watch it rot in a grocery store? How can we reclaim and redistribute horded wealth in a logical and feasible way?

We’re going to be talking about community and back yard gardens, we’re going to discuss radical acts of mutual aid, and we’re going to talk about small ways we can crush capitalism by refusing to play along any more. It’s time to flip the Monopoly board my friends.

I will keep you posted on my little back yard garden, and Marty will come in with his commentary and updates on current events.

Let’s plan together, prep together, work together, and move towards something better than all of this mess we’re stuck in.
